HONEY GARLIC PORK CHOPS

Ingredients:

Pork chops (bone-in or boneless)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

4-5 garlic cloves, minced

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup water or chicken broth (optional for added moisture)

2 tablespoons vinegar or soy sauce (for a deeper flavor)

Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Prep the Chops: Season your pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

Searing: In a large pan, heat the olive oil or butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops. Cook until golden brown on each side, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.

Making the Sauce: In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic. Sauté until it's aromatic but not burnt. Add the honey, water or broth, and vinegar or soy sauce. Stir well to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Simmer: Return the pork chops to the pan. Let them simmer in the honey garlic sauce for about 5 minutes, ensuring they are fully coated and cooked through.

Broil/Grill (Optional): For an extra touch of char and flavor, transfer the pork chops to an oven-proof dish or grill. Broil or grill them for 1-2 minutes until they get a nice charred edge.

Serve: Plate the pork chops and drizzle any remaining sauce from the pan over them. Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions if desired.

Enjoy your Honey Garlic Pork Chops with steamed rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete, satisfying meal!
